Change & Training Manager (Technology Transformation)
– 12-month Fixed Term Contract
  • Drive change and capability programs that support new technologies, systems and integrations, ensuring successful adoption and business outcomes.
  • Design engaging, practical training and communication strategies that simplify complexity and embed new ways of working.
  • Partner with leaders to deliver people-centred transformation across a national manufacturing business.

At CSR, we're transforming the way our manufacturing operations work through the introduction of new Operational Technology (OT) and IT Solutions.

We're looking for an experienced Change & Training Manager who can bridge the gap between technology, people and performance.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who combines the strengths of a Change Manager and a Learning & Development professional. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our people understand, adopt and confidently use new systems and ways of working across our manufacturing network and the wider business.

This is a 12-month, fixed term contract based in North Ryde.

About the Role

As our Change & Training Manager, you'll partner with operational leaders, technical specialists and project teams to drive successful technology adoption across live manufacturing environments.

This is a hands‑on role responsible for the tactical delivery of change, communications and training, including change impact and readiness assessments, stakeholder and engagement activities, communication plans and collateral, training needs analysis and development and delivery of training materials, leader and employee resources, feedback and adoption activities, ensuring impacted teams are informed, prepared and supported through the change.

This is more than developing plans and frameworks.

You'll be on the ground delivering training, facilitating workshops, creating practical communications, supporting end users and working directly with leaders and teams to embed new technologies and ways of working. If you're someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves, engaging with people and making change happen, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Drive and deliver integrated change, communication and capability strategies for large-scale OT and IT transformation initiatives across manufacturing environments.
  • Partner with operational leaders, technical specialists and project teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical messages and learning experiences for frontline employees.
  • Design and deliver engaging communications, workshops and learning experiences that help people understand not only what is changing, but why it matters and how it impacts their work.
  • Apply insights into human behaviour to identify barriers to adoption and develop practical strategies that build confidence, capability and sustained behavioural change.
  • Lead change readiness activities that prepare leaders and teams to successfully adopt and embed new ways of working.
  • Challenge complexity by asking thoughtful questions, connecting the dots across projects and helping teams focus on what matters most for successful adoption.
  • Partner with Project Managers to scope and manage change and training activities, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to change and training resources, ensuring quality, consistency and alignment with CSR's change approach.
  • Ensure all change activities comply with WHSE requirements and project governance standards.
About You

You may come from a background in Change Management, Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Capability Building or Digital Transformation, but what sets you apart is your ability to combine these disciplines to deliver meaningful outcomes. You enjoy simplifying complexity and creating practical solutions that make a real difference.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience driving and delivering organisational, operational or technology-enabled change initiatives.
  • Strong experience designing and delivering learning, training or capability programs.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation and storytelling abilities.
  • A strong understanding of adult learning principles and behavioural change.
  • The confidence to challenge assumptions, ask questions and solve complex problems.
  • Experience working within manufacturing, operational, technology or industrial environments will be highly regarded.
  • Qualifications in Change Management, Learning & Development, Organisational Psychology, Business, Human Behaviour or a related field are advantageous.
What we offer

We strive to support your professional and personal growth. Here are some of the perks you'll enjoy as part of the CSR team:

  • Supportive and collaborative culture that fosters innovation and inclusion. You'll be surrounded by talented colleagues who are passionate about their work and committed to helping each other succeed.
  • Care and wellbeing offer includes up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave, and access to an employee assistance program.
  • Rewarding career with on‑the‑job learning, development, and upskilling opportunities within and across our brands
Why Join CSR?

At CSR, you'll have the opportunity to shape how our people experience technology transformation at scale. You'll work with passionate leaders and project teams while making a tangible impact on how our operations evolve for the future.

If you're excited by the challenge of helping people learn, adapt and thrive through change, we'd love to hear from you.
