Job summary

IT Alliance is seeking an experienced Change Manager at the EL1 level for a long-term contract in Canberra. The role is based in Canberra with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home per week.

Eligibility requires Baseline Security Clearance or above. Essential criteria include leading organisational change within large government environments, engaging stakeholders, developing change strategies, and coordinating governance and reporting to support objectives.

Job description

One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage a Change Manager - (EL1 Level). This is a long-term contractual position.

Contract Duration: 02 Years (12 months initially + 12 months extension)

Work Location: Canberra (03 Days office/02 Days home per week)

Eligibility: You must need to have Baseline Security Clearance or above.

Essential Criteria

• Demonstrated experience leading organisational change, business transformation, or ICT-enabled change initiatives within large and complex organisations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to develop communications, facilitate workshops, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience developing and implementing change management strategies, including impact assessments, business readiness, transition planning, and adoption activities.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate operational planning, governance, executive reporting, and performance monitoring to support organisational objectives.

Desirable Criteria

Experience working within Australian Government ICT environments, including supporting governance, workforce planning, organisational change, or divisional operating model initiatives.
