Job summary

Meta Recruitment in Melbourne's west is seeking a Change Lead for a large, multi-year technology program. You will ensure business readiness before go-lives and sustain adoption across finance, identity and access management, cloud landing zone, and telephony initiatives.

You will partner with project owners, shape the change approach, lead a team, coach senior leaders and manage stakeholder engagement to deliver on time in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in ICT change management within complex environments.
• Experience leading change for large technology projects (agile and waterfall).
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and to chair meetings.

Job description

A Change Lead is needed for a large organisation in Melbourne's west who are partway through a multi-year technology program. The finance system is being replaced, an identity and access management project and a cloud landing zone have just been endorsed, and telephony and incident management are moving through their own stages. There is a lot of change landing on the same people at the same time, and they want one senior person holding the change work across all of it.

This is that role. The job is to make sure the business is ready before each go-live and still working after it.

What you will do

• Partner with project owners to shape the change approach for each initiative and hold a portfolio view across them.
• Assess change impacts and readiness, build the readiness plans, and run the training, engagement and communication that get people to the required level of commitment before cutover.
• Track readiness, adoption and return to productivity, and report on it to the people making the decisions.
• Coach senior leaders in sponsoring change, and be the single point of contact for stakeholders across the organisation.
• Lead and develop the change team.

What you bring

• At least 5 years in an ICT change management role in a complex environment.
• A track record leading the change side of large technology projects, in agile and waterfall settings, and getting them over the line on time.
• Prosci, PCI, Lean Change or an equivalent certification.
• The ability to explain complex things to people who do not care about the technology, and to hold a room.

The contract

Initial 3 month contract with probable extension, with contracts run in 3 month blocks and extended where the work continues. Rate up to $1087p/d depending on experience. Hybrid, with the office in Melbourne's west.
