We are seeking an experienced Change Manager / Change Lead to join a major technology portfolio within a leading Queensland organisation.

This is a hands‑on change management role supporting a portfolio of strategic technology programs, including Digital Engineering, ERP, Cybersecurity, Spatial Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Infrastructure and Field Mobility.

About the Role

Reporting to the Program Delivery Team Leader, you will provide change management leadership across multiple programs, ensuring technology changes are effectively adopted and embedded into business operations.

You will be responsible for developing and executing practical change strategies, managing stakeholder impacts and adoption risks, and coordinating change activities across the broader portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement change management strategies aligned to technology and business transformation programs.
• Lead change management activities across multiple concurrent programs of work.
• Develop change plans and integrate change activities into overall program schedules.
• Conduct change complexity, risk, resourcing, stakeholder and change impact assessments.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, business leaders and project teams.
• Develop executive communications and messaging on behalf of program sponsors.
• Identify and manage adoption risks, resistance and areas of change contention.
• Coordinate change activities across programs to ensure a consistent approach to organisational change.
• Manage change-related risks and issues through formal project controls.
• Support the transition of new systems, applications and processes into BAU.
• Work closely with other Change Managers across the portfolio to ensure alignment and avoid change fatigue or contention.

About You

You will be a hands‑on Change Manager / Change Lead with strong practical experience delivering technology change.

You will ideally have:

• Significant experience in Change Management across technology programs and experience with energy, utilities or mining
• Experience working across multiple programs or a portfolio of projects.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute your own change strategies and plans.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Experience working with senior management, executives and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong understanding of change impacts, adoption, resistance management and business readiness.
• Comprehensive understanding of project training requirements.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
