Job summary

The City of Moreton Bay invites applications for a Change & Communications Officer within our Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO). Based in Strathpine, this hybrid role focuses on guiding organisational change via effective communications, engagement activities and change delivery support.

You will deliver communications, craft content across SharePoint, Teams and newsletters, and help develop change plans for major initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in change management, communications, stakeholder engagement or project support roles.
• Strong writing and communication skills, with ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
• Experience developing communication plans, materials, presentations, user guides or engagement content.
• Ability to build effective relationships and work across diverse teams.
• Knowledge of change management principles and employee engagement practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, particularly SharePoint, Teams and other collaboration platforms.

We're seeking a proactive Change & Communications Officer to join our Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO). In this role, you'll partner with project teams and stakeholders to support organisational change initiatives through effective communications, engagement activities and change delivery support. You'll play a key role in helping employees understand, adopt and embrace new processes, systems and ways of working.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering communication and engagement activities that support business change and ePMO initiatives.
• Creating clear, engaging content across a variety of channels, including SharePoint, Teams, newsletters and project communications.
• Supporting the development of change and communication plans for key organisational initiatives.
• Working with project teams and stakeholders to support readiness, adoption and successful implementation of change.
• Coordinating feedback, surveys and engagement activities to understand user experience and improve outcomes.
• Contributing to a positive change culture through collaboration, coaching and knowledge sharing.
