Are you a Certified Behaviour Analyst who wants to work in a role that extends beyond restrictive practices and crisis response?
Step by Step Interventions is seeking an experienced Certified Behaviour Analyst (CBA) who is also an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing multidisciplinary team.
We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about improving quality of life through evidence-based assessment, skill development, Positive Behaviour Support and meaningful capacity-building interventions. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload while collaborating with psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and Allied Health Assistants to help clients achieve greater independence, participation and wellbeing.
Step by Step Interventions is a multidisciplinary allied health practice based in Richmond, NSW. We support individuals and families across the Hawkesbury, Nepean, Western Sydney, Hills District and surrounding regions.
Our clients present with a wide range of support needs, including:
Our focus is on helping people build practical skills, increase independence, improve participation, and achieve meaningful outcomes across home, education, employment, community and recreational settings.
As a Certified Behaviour Analyst, you will:
While Positive Behaviour Support forms part of this role, we recognise that behaviour analysis is much broader than responding to behaviours of concern.
Our behaviour analysts support clients to develop meaningful skills, improve independence, increase participation and achieve goals that matter to them. You'll have opportunities to work across capacity building, skill acquisition, caregiver training and Positive Behaviour Support within a practice that values the full scope of behaviour analytic services.
You'll be part of a collaborative team that values professional expertise, encourages clinical discussion, and provides access to supervision, mentoring and peer support when needed.
We work closely across disciplines, with behaviour analysts regularly collaborating with psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and Allied Health Assistants to achieve meaningful outcomes. You'll also have the opportunity to develop intervention programs, provide clinical guidance to Allied Health Assistants, and see your recommendations implemented consistently across a client's everyday environments.
This creates opportunities to extend the reach of your intervention, focus on clinical decision‑making, and help clients generalise skills beyond direct therapy sessions alone.
As a growing organisation, we are committed to supporting professional development and creating opportunities for clinicians to expand their skills, develop specialist areas of interest, contribute to service development and take on leadership opportunities over time.
We're looking for a clinician who:
If you're looking for a role where your behaviour analytic expertise is valued, your clinical judgement is respected, and your work can create meaningful change in people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.
