Job summary

RecruitShop in Camden, NSW invites applications for a role delivering evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support to a diverse caseload of NDIS participants with complex needs. You will conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments, develop and review Behaviour Support Plans, and provide trauma-informed, person-centred interventions.

You will coach families and carers, promote non-restrictive practices, and maintain thorough clinical documentation in a supportive, multidisciplinary clinic environment

Qualifications

• PD and PB S roles require delivering evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support to NDIS participants.
• Experience conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments and developing or reviewing Behaviour Support Plans.
• Strong report-writing and communication skills are essential.
• Current driver’s licence, WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check are required or highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support to NDIS participants with complex needs.
• Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments.
• Develop and review Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans.
• Deliver person-centred, trauma-informed interventions.
• Coach and train families, carers and support workers.
• Reduce and eliminate restrictive practices and ensure NDIS compliance.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support to a varied caseload of NDIS participants with complex support needs.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments
• Developing and reviewing Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
• Delivering person-centred, trauma-informed interventions
• Coaching and training families, carers and support workers
• Reducing and eliminating restrictive practices
• Ensuring compliance with NDIS Commission requirements
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and reports

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• NDIS Commission assessment at Proficient, Advanced or Specialist level
• Demonstrated experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support to NDIS participants
• Strong FBA and Behaviour Support Plan experience
• Confidence managing complex presentations and behaviours of concern
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills
• Current driver’s licence, WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (highly regarded)
