Qualifications

• Certificate 3 qualification in children services
• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
• Current Blue Card
• Experience in long day care or similar
• Knowledge of EYLF and NQS
• Experience and confidence with classroom setting and educational programs
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Strong relationships with children and families
• Ability to implement stimulating programs and EYLF-based curriculum
• Observe and record learning for portfolios

Day One ELC is seeking Certificate III quallified/ studying educators to join our wonderful team.

The role

The successful candidate will be actively engaged in educating and caring for children under 5 years of age and effectively communicating with children, your team and families. We are seeking educators with a strong passion for the Early Childhood industry.

Selection Criteria

• Certificate 3 qualification in children services
• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
• Current Blue Card
• experience working in a long day care centre or similar
• Knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
• Prior experience and confidence with a classroom setting and helping write educational programs
• Strong leadership skills and an ability to confidently guide and mentor your peers
• Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families
• Ability to Implement stimulating programs, and develop a curriculum based on the children’s interests and the EYLF
• Ability to observe and record children’s learning and contribute to their educational portfolios
• Strong verbal and written communication skillsMust be reliable
