Job summary

Montgomery Park Children’s Centre in Melbourne seeks a passionate Certificate III qualified Early Childhood Educator for a secure permanent full-time role within a supportive professional team.

You will deliver high-quality, play-based learning, build strong relationships with children and families, and document learning for curriculum planning while adhering to the Child Safe Standards and NQF frameworks.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Children’s Services or equivalent as required by legislation
• Knowledge of Child Safe Standards and the National Quality Framework
• Passion for early learning and child development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a room team
• Working With Children Check and Anaphylaxis/Emergency Asthma certificates desirable

• Hourly rate Council band 3, $36.48 per hour plus 12% superannuation

• Deliver high-quality, play-based learning programs tailored to children’s individual and group needs
• Create warm, intentional and engaging interactions that support children’s learning and wellbeing
• Work in line with the Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and approved curriculum frameworks
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Document children’s learning and contribute to curriculum planning and delivery

About You

You will bring:

• Certificate III in Children’s Services (or equivalent) recognised under relevant legislation
• Sound knowledge of Child Safe Standards and the National Quality Framework
• A genuine passion for early learning and child development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to manage your responsibilities collaboratively within a room team
• You will also hold (or be willing to obtain):
• Working With Children Check
• Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management certificates
