Campbelltown City Council is seeking a casual Certificate III Educator to join the Education and Care Services team in Campbelltown. You will plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs while ensuring child safety and supervision, and maintaining high-quality service delivery.

The successful candidate will hold a Certificate III Education and Care (or be actively working towards it), possess a WWCC, First Aid and asthma/anaphylaxis training, and have strong communication

Education and Care Servicesis responsible for the delivery of professional, high quality childcare services and educational programs in the Campbelltown local government area. We provide care to children aged 0-12 years and operate according to Early Childhood Education and Care National Regulations and the National Quality Standards and Framework.

About the role:

We are currently seeking a casual Certificate III Educator to join our team. You will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate programs, ensuring safety and supervision of children and maintaining service delivery.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key qualifications, training skills and attributes:

• Certificate III level Education and Care qualification recognised as an approved qualification by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). Applicants actively working towards their qualification, may be considered.
• National Child Safe Training Certificate
  
• Basic understanding of children development 0-12 years
• Knowledge of National Quality Framework including Education and Care Services National Regulations and Law
• Current First Aid Certificate and approved asthma and anaphylaxis training.
• A cleared Working with Children Check
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work as a co-operative team member
• A commitment to a customer focused service
