Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is seeking a qualified early childhood educator for a full-time permanent role in our brand-new 62-place facility in Sydney. You will develop and implement a high-quality curriculum, support children and families, and contribute to our Catholic identity.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• First Aid Certificate (ACECQA approved) with emergency care training.
• Identify & Respond to Children at Risk of Harm certification required.
• Working with Children Check mandatory.
• Completed GECCKO national child safety training.

• Develop high-quality curriculum responding to children's strengths and needs.
• Build active, respectful relationships with children, families and team.
• Support the Catholic identity, philosophy, policies, and procedures of the service.

Centre Size: Brand new 62-place facility with 3 modern learning rooms

To Be Considered, You Must Have:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current First Aid Certificate Approved by ACECQA:Includes applying first aid, emergency asthma management, and anaphylaxis.
• Identify & Respond to Children at Risk of Harm Certificate
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Completed themandatory national child safety training via GECCKO.
• Practical Knowledge:Understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
