Job summary

Mini Masterminds Merrylands is seeking a passionate Part-Time Certificate III Educator to provide 10am–3pm lunch cover, Monday to Friday, in a 77-place centre.

You will join a collaborative team to deliver play-based learning, build relationships with children and families, and help maintain a safe, inclusive environment while meeting NQF/NQS requirements.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Current Child Protection training/certificate.
• Basic knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work Mon-Fri 10am-3pm.

• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Observe and document children's learning and development.
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality education and care.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and all relevant legislation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the centre.
• Support children's wellbeing and development through meaningful interactions.

About the Role

As a Certificate III Educator, you will work as part of a collaborative team to create engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children's learning, development, and wellbeing.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications

• Current Child Protection training/certificate

• Basic knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for early childhood education

• Must be able to work Mon-Fri 10am-3pm
