Job summary

Journey Early Learning Fernvale is seeking a Centre Manager to lead operations, educational quality and team performance at our Fernvale centre. You will coach your staff, manage budgets and occupancy, and ensure high-quality programs under EYLF.

We value confident, people-focused leaders who drive continuous improvement, maintain NQF compliance and nurture strong relationships with families and the local community.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of NQF, NQS and EYLF.
• Experience leading and coaching educators and leadership teams.
• Confidence managing centre operations, staffing, budgets and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Early Childhood professionals.
• Build a positive team culture grounded in trust and collaboration.
• Oversee daily centre operations, staffing, occupancy and budgets.
• Support high-quality educational programs aligned with EYLF.
• Drive continuous improvement against NQS and prepare for Assessment & Rating.
• Maintain compliance with NQF, regulations and child safety requirements.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the community.
• Monitor centre performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Journey's support teams to achieve outcomes.
