Job summary

Journey Early Learning Careers is seeking an experienced Centre Manager for our Durack service to lead a 111-place early learning centre. You’ll drive people, quality and operations while fostering a positive, collaborative culture with your Leadership Team.

Take ownership of rostering, budgets and occupancy, ensure NQF/NQS compliance and safeguarding across the service, and mentor a large team to deliver outstanding outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Experience leading a large centre and managing a team.
• Strong knowledge of NQF, NQS and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated capability with budgets, rostering and occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop your team to build a high-performing centre.
• Create a positive, collaborative centre culture and strong practice.
• Partner with leadership to drive quality and compliance.
• Build relationships with children, families and the community.
• Oversee rostering, budgets, occupancy and centre performance.
• Support recruitment, retention and succession planning.
• Maintain compliance with NQF, NQS and Journey Standards.
• Champion child safety and safeguarding daily.
