Job summary

Mecwacare is seeking a confident, organised Centre Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Home and Community Services centre in Ballarat. Lead staff performance and development, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement while delivering high-quality care to clients and their families.

You will coordinate recruitment, onboarding and rostering, harness strong stakeholder relationships and ensure services meet CHSP/NDIS-like guidelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong operations management and ability to coordinate people, programs and resources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with clear reporting to stakeholders.
• Proven ability to build professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of budgets and responsible resource use.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven customer service experience with professional issue resolution.
• Ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience identifying workforce development needs and improving team performance.
• Organisation skills with ability to prioritise and complete tasks.
• Initiative, attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
