Job summary

AMA Collision at Micra Hobart is seeking a proactive Centre Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and oversee the Production Manager, Estimator and Customer Service Officer. You will drive workshop production, ensure quality repairs, manage costs and build strong working relationships with customers and suppliers.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will champion WHS, environmental practices and a safe, efficient workplace while coaching your team to achieve budgets, KPIs and timely

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong operational experience managing workshop production, vehicle flow, repair quality and delivery timeframes.
• Customer-first mindset, with the confidence to resolve concerns and build trusted relationships.
• Sound commercial judgement, including experience with budgets, P&Ls, job costing, invoicing and KPI performance.
• Commitment to WHS, environmental compliance and a safe, well-organised workplace.
• Ability to balance competing priorities, solve problems quickly and keep operations running smoothly.
• Clear communication skills and a practical, hands-on leadership style.
• High standards for repair quality, service delivery and team accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safe, compliant workplace, including WHS processes, inductions, incident reporting and environmental practices.
• Drive workshop production, vehicle flow, repair timeframes, quality checks and housekeeping.
• Ensure repairs, quotes, job costs and parts management meet AMA and client standards while supporting profitability.
• Build strong customer and work-provider relationships, resolve concerns, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the repair journey.
• Manage centre performance through budgets, P&Ls, KPIs, reporting, invoicing and debtor follow-up.
• Lead, coach and develop your team through recruitment, onboarding, feedback, training and performance management.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Centre Manager to join the team at Micra Hobart
