Expeditions Early Learning Journey is seeking a dynamic Centre Manager to lead our Underwood service through growth, maintain high‑quality early learning, and support a stable, collaborative team. You will guide educators, foster parent partnerships and champion best practice in early years.
The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA‑recognised equivalent), 3+ years in leadership, and a strong ability to drive change while nurturing staff wellbeing and families’ trust.
At Expeditions Early Learning Journey, we believe every child’s first life expedition should be filled with wonder, warmth, and opportunities to grow. Our approach is grounded in play‑based learning, curiosity, empowerment, and the understanding that every child’s path is unique. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel free to explore, discover, and thrive.
Our Underwood service is well‑loved in the community for its openness, honesty, consistency, and genuine connection with families. Backed by a stable, passionate and highly collaborative team of Educators, the centre has built a strong foundation, one ready to be supported and elevated by a truly inspiring leader.
We are now seeking a dynamic, people‑focused Centre Manager ,who can guide our service through growth and continuous improvement while nurturing the strengths and wellbeing of our team.
We are also participating in the Worker Retention Grant.
You are a visionary leader who understands that exceptional early learning begins with an empowered, engaged and inspired team. With a natural gift for communication and collaboration, you know how to take people on the journey, not just tell them where to go.
You recognise individual strengths, celebrate achievements, and create a culture where your team feels safe to innovate, learn and contribute. You bring clarity during times of transition, guiding Educators with confidence and calm while championing best practice and positive outcomes for children.
Most importantly, you lead with heart. Your authenticity, emotional intelligence and commitment to high‑quality care enable you to build strong relationships with children, families, Educators, and the wider community.
We can’t wait to meet our next leader...
