Job summary

Knight Frank Australia is seeking a Centre Manager to own a Murray Bridge shopping centre and a portfolio of neighbourhood centres. You will lead day-to-day operations, build retailer relationships, and ensure a safe, well-presented trading environment for customers.

You will collaborate with a national team delivering best-in-class centre management and report to a major client. The role emphasises hands-on leadership and stakeholder engagement across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Property industry (Retail management essential).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong and demonstrated ability to build relationships.
• Customer centric approach.
• Proven time management and organisational skill.
• Knowledge of Centre operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the client in administering leases and licenses.
• Maintaining tenancy schedules with accuracy.
• Assist in annual income and expenditure budgets.
• Manage and maintain bank guarantees.
• Regular centre inspections to maintain presentation.
• Monitor maintenance queries and works.
• Establish relationships with occupiers and manage complaints.
• Provide CAPEX recommendations to the FM team.
• Support marketing and promotional activity.
• Arrears management.
• Monthly financial reporting.
• Expense forecasting.

Job description

• Take ownership of a well-established shopping centre in Murray Bridge and a portfolio of smaller neighbourhood centres. Play a central role in shaping its performance, retailer mix, and customer experience within a growing regional community.
  
• Be part of a team recognised for delivering best in class centre management across a national portfolio, working closely with a major client and gaining exposure to institutional grade operations and reporting.
  
• Step into a hands‑on leadership role where you'll have real influence over day‑to‑day operations, retailer relationships, and centre presentation.
  

Who we're looking for?

The role involves establishing and maintaining strong, positive relationships with retailers and ensuring the trading environment is well presented, safe and an inviting destination for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to the client in administering the requirements of leases and licenses.
