Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning is seeking a Centre Director to lead a Rockhampton early learning centre, relocating professionals to Queensland. You will manage daily operations, uphold quality education standards, and foster strong community ties.

The role includes overseeing curriculum, staff development, and engaging with families while supported by a Centre Administrator and Educational Leader. A relocation can be arranged.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education or higher.
• Current Working with Children’s Check and Police Check + PRODA.
• National Child Safety Training and Child Protection Training are required.
• Completion of one of CHCPRT025, CHCPRT001, CHCPRT026, CHCPRT002 or CHCECE057 (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates.
• Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience growing a team of Educators.
• Strong knowledge of systems including Humanforce/Timetarget, Storypark, Qikkids, CCMS, Facebook and ISS.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and prioritise children and staff wellbeing.
• Oversee curriculum and pedagogical documentation with support from leadership partners.
• Welcome families with warmth and deliver quality tours and orientations.
• Build connections with local families and community networks.
• Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework.
• Collaborate with Centre Leadership, Talent Acquisition and Centre Administrator.
• Attract and develop Educators with strong leadership and mentoring.

About You:

• An ACECQA-approved DiplomaofEarly Childhood Education, or above
• Current State relevant Working with Children’s Check,Police Check + PRODA
• Current Child Protection Training and National Child Safety Training
• Additional Child Protection Training, in line with section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Queensland Government. Completion of 1 of the following courses will ensure compliance; CHCPRT025, CHCPRT001, CHCPRT026, CHCPRT002 or CHCECE057 (or willingness to obtain before commencement)
• Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
• Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate
• Extraordinary leadership abilities with proven experienceengaging, inspiring and growing a team of professional Educators
