Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning Rockhampton is seeking an experienced Educator Leader to champion our commitments, uphold regulatory standards, and guide a capable team in delivering high-quality care.

You will oversee curriculum, documentation, and staff development while fostering strong connections with families and the local community. A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and relevant checks are required, with ongoing professional development supported by our leadership team.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education or higher is required.
• Current WWCC, Police Check and PRODA.
• Current Child Protection and National Safety Training.
• Completion of CHCPRT025/CHCPRT001/CHCPRT026/CHCPRT002 or CHCECE057 (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid certificates.
• Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience growing a team of Educators.
• Strong knowledge of systems such as Humanforce/Timetarget, Storypark, Qikkids, CCMS, Facebook and ISS.

Responsibilities

• Live and model the Green Leaves Commitments daily.
• Support by Educational Leader and Centre Administrator.
• Oversee smooth day-to-day operations prioritising children and team.
• Deliver warm tours and orientations to families.
• Build connections with local families and networks.
• Ensure compliance with NQS and EYLF in curriculum & documentation.
• Collaborate with NLRDP Partners and Operations Support Manager.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialist to attract Educators.

About You:

• An ACECQA-approved DiplomaofEarly Childhood Education, or above
• Current State relevant Working with Children’s Check,Police Check + PRODA
• Current Child Protection Training and National Child Safety Training
• Additional Child Protection Training, in line with section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Queensland Government. Completion of 1 of the following courses will ensure compliance; CHCPRT025, CHCPRT001, CHCPRT026, CHCPRT002 or CHCECE057 (or willingness to obtain before commencement)
• Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
• Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate
• Extraordinary leadership abilities with proven experienceengaging, inspiring and growing a team of professional Educators
• Strong knowledge of systems including Humanforce/Timetarget, Storypark, Qikkids, CCMS, Facebook and ISS.
