Cullunghutti Aboriginal Child and Family is seeking an experienced Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor to oversee daily operations and guide a dedicated team of educators in delivering high-quality early childhood education and care.

You will lead, mentor, and support staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a positive, culturally respectful learning environment for children and families.

Qualifications

  • Qualification in Early Childhood Eduation & Care from an approved training organisation (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA)
  • Understanding of the Office for the Children’s Guardians child safe scheme & child safe standards
  • Demonstrated commitment to child safety
  • Current "Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting" qualification
  • Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training
  • Accredited Child Protection and Child Safe Training
  • Teacher Accreditation as per state/territory requirements if applicable
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, Education and Care Services National Law (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), Family Assistance Law (Child Care Subsidy 2018)
  • Demonstrated ability within the role of responsible person
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to effectively observe, dynamically program and plan for group and individual children
  • The ability to develop and maintain positive and culturally respectful relationships with families, children and staff
  • Demonstrated understanding of leadership and leading a team successfully
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current early childhood theories of practice
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategies to guide positive children's behavior

Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor (Off-the-Floor)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Educator to join our collaborative team as an Off-the-Floor Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor.

About the Role

As Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service while leading, guiding, and supporting a dedicated team of educators. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and care programs that support children's learning, development, and wellbeing.

Essential Criteria
