Carlton Academy Of Early Learning in Campsie, NSW invites a Director / Nominated Supervisor to shape the culture, values and vision of a new boutique 40-place service opening November 2026. You will lead decor sign-off, recruit a team from scratch and set the pace for systems, culture and daily operations.

Access to the approved provider, dedicated leadership program with financial bonuses and PD paid for, plus regular networking with other Managers supports a balanced, hands-on leadership role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Minimum 5+ years as Centre Director or Nominated Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of NQF, NQS, National Law and Regulations.

• Recruit and build educator team from scratch.

About the role

This is an opportunity to help create the culture, values and vision of a new boutique 40-place early learning service in Campsie alongside experienced owner who genuinely understand and value early childhood education. As Director / Nominated Supervisor, you will guide the centre through final decoration and compliance sign-off before opening, recruit and build your educator team from scratch, set the tone for systems, culture and day-to-day operations, grow enrolments and occupancy from zero, and act as Nominated Supervisor once open.

Key responsibilities

About you

5+ years' experience as a Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)

Strong, current knowledge of the NQF, NQS, National Law and Regulations

Strong knowledge of Child safety and protection

Proven track record leading, mentoring and developing educators

Confident handling compliance, staffing, rostering and performance

Skilled at building relationships with children, families, and navigating tough conversations

Proven record of building occupancy

Organised, hands-on, and a natural leader who knows their centre inside out

Current NSW Working With Children Check and Police check

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certs (or willing to obtain)
