Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Huntly is seeking a Centre Director to lead daily operations, guide educators, and maintain high-quality early learning. You will manage rosters, budgets, enrolments and family relations while upholding child safety and ACECQA standards.

The role requires a Diploma or ACECQA-approved degree, WWCC and relevant certifications, with a pathway to further professional development within a supportive head office.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services or ACECQA-approved degree.
• Experience as Centre Director in an early childhood setting.
• Current WWCC, approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma qualifications.
• National Child Protection Certificates (up to Unit 5).
• Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS and QIP.

We are seeking a passionate, driven and knowledgeable Centre Director, who has the experience and desire to lead, support and manage our team of Educators, and help with the day-to-day running of our amazing childcare centre!

About the role

Managing day-to-day operations in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies.

Providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to our dedicated staff.

Ensuring the delivery of high-quality early learning programs by our passionate educators.

Effectively handling and managing the centre's staffing rosters and financial requirements in line with budget guidelines.

Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with children, families, educators, the local business community, and all stakeholders.

Actively participating in attracting, converting, and retaining families through effective management of tours, enrolments, and orientation in collaboration with our Enrolments Team.

About you

Hold a Diploma in Children's Services or an Early Childhood Degree approved by ACECQA.

Previous experience as a Centre Director in an early childhood setting.

Current WWCC, approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma qualifications

National Child Protection Certificates (up to Unit 5)

Exhibit an extensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Development Framework, National Quality Standards (NQS), and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)

Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Showcase the ability to lead and mentor a team of dedicated early childhood professionals.

Demonstrate the ability to incorporate critical thinking and reflective practice into daily operations.
