Job summary

Active Kids Group is seeking a passionate Centre Director to lead our Newtown service, guiding daily operations, ensuring high-quality learning programs, and fostering a safe, inclusive environment for children and families.

You will manage staff, compliance, budgets, and administration while partnering with a supportive leadership team. Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education, current First Aid and WWCC are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education is required.
• Current First Aid, Child Protection & Food Safety certifications.
• WWCC certification is required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and leadership.

About the Role

As Centre Director, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day leadership of a vibrant early learning service.

You’ll create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children and families, while leading a motivated team and ensuring strong operational and educational outcomes.

• Leading daily operations of the centre
• Supporting educators to deliver high-quality learning programs
• Building strong relationships with families and the local community
• Managing staffing, compliance, budgets, and administration

What You’ll Bring

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education (as required)
