Edge Early Learning is seeking a Centre Director to lead our team in Strathalbyn, SA. You will drive vision, culture, and continuous improvement, while ensuring high standards of care and compliance.

The role requires proven leadership, budget oversight, and strategic staffing. You will foster a collaborative environment, mentor staff, and guide long-term centre growth within Australia.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Graduate Diploma/Masters of Teaching with educator experience in Australia.
• Working with Children Check is mandatory.
• National Safety Training (GECCKO) mandatory; RRHAN Fundamentals (SA) mandatory.
• First Aid & CPR certificates are mandatory; Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead with vision to inspire creativity, innovation and continuous improvement across the centre.
• Cultivate a positive, collaborative culture where staff can thrive.
• Recruitment and succession planning to develop future leaders.
• Manage agency spend to ensure financial sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with NQS, EYLF, and QKLG standards and robust safety practices.
• Optimise rostering to place the right people in the right roles.
• Mentor and empower the team to reach their full potential.
