Job summary

Edge Early Learning invites an experienced Assistant Director or Educational Leader to partner with the Centre Director to drive high-quality practice and outcomes for children, families and educators in Angle Vale, South Australia.

You will mentor educators, oversee day-to-day operations, and step in when the Director is unavailable, while ensuring alignment with the National Quality Framework and fostering strong community relationships.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Graduate Diploma with 2–3 years’ educator experience in long day care in Australia
• Leadership experience in a Long Day Care setting is essential
• Working rights in Australia are required

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director with day-to-day operations.
• Lead the service in the Director's absence.
• Coach and mentor educators.
• Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework.
• Build strong relationships with families and the community.
