Job summary

Creekside Kids Early Learning Centre – Mullumbimby NSW is seeking an experienced Centre Director to oversee daily operations, lead educators and drive high-quality early childhood education.

You will manage staff rostering, enrolments and occupancy, ensure regulatory compliance with NQF/NGS, and foster a collaborative, safety‑focused culture while strengthening relationships with families and the local community.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in an early childhood education and care service.
• Experience managing and supporting a team of educators.
• Strong knowledge of childcare regulations, compliance and quality improvement.
• Experience with rostering, enrolments and daily centre operations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and management of the centre.
• Lead and support educators, room leaders and staff.
• Manage staff rostering, recruitment, induction and development.
• Ensure compliance with National Quality Framework and regulations.
• Oversee educational programs and documentation.
• Drive the Quality Improvement Plan and continuous improvement.
• Maintain child safety, health and wellbeing.
• Foster positive relationships with families and manage enquiries.
• Oversee enrolments, waitlists and occupancy growth.
• Monitor costs and administrative processes.
• Maintain accurate records and regulatory notifications.
