Job summary

Strive Early Learning Centre in Bass Hill, NSW, invites applications for a Centre Director to lead a 39‑place service with passion for high-quality early childhood education. You will mentor staff, build strong family ties and maintain a child-safe culture while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on leading day-to-day operations, supporting curriculum, enrolments and community relationships, and driving improvement in a collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) is required or approved equivalent.
• Experience in a Centre Director or senior leadership role is essential.
• Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS, and Education and Care National Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support the team to deliver quality care.
• Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant regulations.
• Support high-quality curriculum and educational practices.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and the local community.
• Oversee enrolments, tours and family engagement.
• Manage staffing, rosters and daily operations.
• Drive continuous improvement and support the service’s Quality Improvement Plan.
