Job summary

Day One Early Learning Centres is seeking a dynamic Centre Director to lead a passionate team of educators and ensure high-quality early learning across the centre. You will manage daily operations, budgets, staffing, compliance with NQS and EYLF, and report to the owner with KPI insights.

As a business-minded leader, you will mentor staff, drive continuous improvement, maintain ratings, and deliver exceptional family experiences while upholding Day One's values and environment focus.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills for a team with a range of experience levels.
• Early Childhood qualifications.
• Have First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, or willingness to immediately obtain.
• A minimum of 5 years experience as a Centre Director.
• Have a proven history with the implementation of NQF, EYLF and Kindergarten guidelines.
• Excellent presentation and communication verbally and written.
• Current Suitability Card.
• Happy disposition and dedicated to making a difference.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards including NQF and EYLF.
• Run daily operational components of the business, including budgets, ratios, rosters and staffing.

Our ideal candidate for this managerial position is an individual who demonstrates passion and enthusiasm for a hands on career working with children, families and educators. We are looking for a driven, creative and resourceful mentor for our team of Educators.

As the Centre Director you will be required to ensure compliance, run the daily operational components of the business, report monthly to the Owner on a range of KPIs, develop and mentor our team, strive for excellence whilst being guided by the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Frameworks. You will be responsible for managing the centre budgets, ratios, rosters and staffing requirements.
