Job summary

Excel Early Learning Box Hill NSW is seeking a motivated Full-Time Centre Director to lead the day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality education and care while fostering an inclusive, collaborative team culture.

You will mentor educators, build strong partnerships with families and the local community, drive occupancy and continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with the NQF, NQS and relevant legislation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
• Experience as a Centre Director in Early Childhood Education.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Current Child Protection training/certificate.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF and NQS.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Genuine passion for leading teams and delivering high-quality education and care.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring high-quality education and care.
• Mentor and support educators to achieve their professional goals.
• Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the local community.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and all relevant legislation.
• Drive occupancy, quality improvement initiatives and overall centre performance.
• Manage staffing, rostering and centre resources effectively.
• Work collaboratively with the leadership team to achieve organisational goals.
