Goodstart Kyneton is looking for a Centre Cook to prepare delicious, nutritious meals for children in a 73-capacity centre. You will tailor menus, manage ingredients, and ensure all meals meet dietary needs and safety standards within a supportive, regional community.

The role is part-time (27.5 hours per week) with competitive pay and staff discounts. You’ll be part of a welcoming team, contributing to children’s healthy growth and daily experiences.

Qualificações

• Formal cookery qualification or significant childcare cooking experience.
• Current Working with Children Check for Victoria.
• Certificate for National Child Safety Foundation Training (Geccko) is required.

In This Role, You Will

• Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies

• Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic

You’ll Need

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting
• Current Victoria Working with Children Check
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform
