Audrey Wilkinson Cellar Door, perched on the foothills of Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley, seeks a confident Cellar Door Supervisor to lead our friendly team in delivering exceptional wine tasting experiences and guest services.

You will support the Cellar Door Manager with daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, end-of-day reconciliations, staff rostering and reservations, and you may handle unsupervised shifts on weekends.

Competenze

• Must have customer service experience in hospitality or tourism.
• Experience supervising teams in wine, tourism or hospitality sectors.
• Familiarity with hospitality opening/closing procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Desirable: experience with Commerce7 and Rezdy.

Mansioni

• Lead the cellar door team in delivering wine tasting experiences and guest service.
• Support Cellar Door Manager with daily operations, open/close procedures and end-of-day reconciliations.
• Assist with staff management and reservations as required.
• Occasionally run the cellar door unsupervised and roster weekend work.

Job Description

Summary:

Perched on the foothills of Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley and overlooking our historic vineyard, the Audrey Wilkinson Cellar Door is renowned as much for the breathtaking views as it is our award-winning wines and legendary visitor experience.

Responsibilities:

The Cellar Door Supervisor will help lead our enthusiastic cellar door team in their day-to-day delivery of our wine tasting experiences, ensuring exceptional customer service.

They will assist and support the Cellar Door Manager in the management and operation of the cellar door, including undertaking open and close procedures, end of day reconciliations, staff management, reservations management, as required.

Cellar Door Supervisors will also regularly have the responsibility for running the cellar door unsupervised.

It is a fundamental requirement for this role that individuals are available to work on weekends, on a rostered basis.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Natural customer service skills.
• Experience in a supervisory role within the wine, tourism and/or hospitality industries.
• Experience and proficiency in hospitality open and close procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
• Prior experience with Commerce7 and/or Rezdy highly desirable.
• Must be able to regularly work weekends and holidays.
