Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or cellar-door setting is preferred.
• RSA certification required or in progress.
• Excellent communication and guest-relations abilities.

Responsibilities

• Host guided tastings and deliver warm hospitality.
• Share stories behind Vinarchy wines and Berri Estates heritage.
• Promote wine club memberships and welcome new members.
• Operate POS systems, process transactions, balance till.
• Restock and maintain a polished cellar-door space.
• Assist with packaging and dispatch of orders as needed.

We’re looking for a Cellar Door Host to bring the Berri Estates experience to life. This is a role for someone who loves people, loves wine, and loves creating an atmosphere where visitors feel welcomed, engaged and eager to explore our portfolio. You’ll be the face of our cellar door, sharing stories, guiding tastings, and helping guests discover wines they’ll take home and remember.

The Role

As a Cellar Door Host, you’ll deliver warm, polished hospitality that reflects the heart of our brand. You’ll guide visitors through tastings, share the history and craft behind our wines, and help create experiences that feel personal and memorable. This role blends customer service, storytelling, hands‑on cellar door operations and a genuine passion for wine.

You’ll support the Cellar Door Manager day‑to‑day, ensuring the space looks beautiful, the service runs smoothly, and every guest leaves with a smile (and maybe a bottle or two)

You Will

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and host guided tastings
• Share the stories behind our wines and the heritage of Berri Estates
• Promote wine club membership and welcome new members
• Operate POS systems, including opening, closing and balancing
• Restock the cellar door and maintain a polished, inviting space
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer wine orders
• Support general cellar door operations as needed

• Passion for wine and the ability to share it with others
• Strong customer service skills and a natural hosting style
• Ability to communicate stories, both wine and history with confidence
• Experience in a cellar door or hospitality environment (highly desirable)
• Ability to work weekends and handle occasional manual lifting

Requirements

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
• Comfortable with manual handling (glassware, wine boxes)
