Job summary

Vinarchy is seeking a Grower Liaison Officer to manage the Riverland grower portfolio, coordinate grape supply across the region and support vintage planning. You will spend time in the vineyard building relationships with growers, guiding quality expectations and monitoring progress from grape to glass.

You will report to the Grape Supply Manager – Commercial & VIC, lead seasonal staff, analyse viticultural data, and ensure timely communications for harvest planning and logistics.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within viticulture or agricultural operations.
  • Diploma as a minimum or Degree preferred in Viticulture or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability in stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution and team leadership.
  • Commercial acumen and sound decision-making capability, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with GIS platforms such as ESRI/ArcGIS.
  • A valid Driver’s Licence.

  • Administer grower grape payments, bonuses and accurate contract records.
  • Lead seasonal staff during vintage, including weighbridge and booking officers.
  • Analyse viticultural data and prepare reports for internal planning and regulatory bodies.
  • Support the adoption of GIS tools for vineyard mapping and data applications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry reporting requirements and winery certifications.
  • Assist with strategic initiatives and process improvements that enhance quality and efficiency.

About the role

Reporting to the Grape Supply Manager – Commercial & VIC, this role manages Vinarchy’s grower portfolio and coordinates grape supply across the Riverland region.
As Grower Liaison Officer, you’ll become a trusted partner to growers across the region, building strong relationships that support collaboration, fruit quality and seasonal planning. You’ll spend time in the vineyard providing practical guidance on requirements, quality expectations and day-to-day management, while monitoring progress, identifying risks early and offering timely advice.
You’ll also play an important role in keeping internal teams aligned through clear communication around fruit supply, quality targets and harvest planning. During vintage, you’ll help coordinate fruit intake and support smooth logistics, while capturing and reporting vineyard data that informs forecasting, quality assessments and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring:
