Job summary

Briar Ridge Vineyard in Mount View, NSW, is seeking a part-time Cellar Door Salesperson to welcome wine lovers, host tastings, and guide guests to the perfect bottle.

You’ll assist with wine sales, support Wine Club sign-ups, keep the cellar door inviting and handle bookings, with Commerce7 experience a bonus.

Must hold a current RSA and a valid Driver's Licence; passion for wine and dogs is a plus in our friendly, boutique winery setting.

Qualifications

• Current RSA is required.
• Driver's license is required.
• Wine knowledge or strong product knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive wine sales and Wine Club sign-ups.
• Host tastings and guide customers to purchase.
• Keep the venue welcoming, beautiful and organised.

Briar Ridge Vineyard, established in 1972, is a prestigious winery located in the scenic Mount View region of the Hunter Valley. Known for our award-winning wines and Halliday Red Star rating, Briar Ridge blends traditional viticulture with innovative winemaking techniques. Our portfolio spans Hunter classics such as Semillon and Shiraz, as well as limited-release experimental varieties. We are on the lookout for passionate Cellar Door Salesperson to captivate the imagination of wine lovers who visit our stunning Cellar Door and contribute to the ongoing success of our boutique family-run winery.

About the Role

This is a part-time role working every Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday, from 9:30am to 5:00pm.

You’ll help create relaxed, memorable wine experiences for every guest. You’ll host tastings, share the stories behind our wines, and guide customers in finding the perfect bottle to take home.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Driving wine sales, Wine Club sign-ups, and customer engagement
• Keeping the venue looking beautiful, welcoming, and organised
• Jumping in to support events
• Handling systems like POS and bookings (Commerce7 experience a bonus)

About You

• You genuinely enjoy talking to people and creating great experiences
• You have a passion for wine (or are keen to learn!)
• You're reliable and committed to working every Friday and Sunday
• You hold a current RSA and Drivers Licence
• You have wine qualifications or strong product knowledge
• You love dogs (non-negotiable… our guests will bring them anyway )
