SOUMAH of Yarra Valley in Victoria is seeking a Cellar Door Manager to lead our tasting team and drive the Wine Club membership. This hands-on role combines hospitality leadership with a sales mindset, overseeing day-to-day cellar door operations, training staff and ensuring an exceptional visitor experience across cellar door, restaurant and on-site accommodation.

You will coordinate tastings, manage stock and POS, and work with a small team to convert visits into memberships and orders.

Formación

• Proven leadership experience in hospitality.
• Experience running a cellar door or tasting room.
• Ability to train a small team and manage staff.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• RSA certification and driver’s licence.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct engaging, knowledgeable and professional wine tastings for cellar door visitors.
• Ensure knowledge of French and Italian wines and the Coterie Wine Collection offerings.
• Grow the Wine Club membership through tastings, events and follow-up engagement.
• Manage Wine Club and customer information within digital platforms.
• Coordinate dispatch of direct customer and Wine Club orders.
• Lead and train the cellar door team.
• Own the visitor experience end-to-end across cellar door, restaurant and on-site accommodation.
• Work with the team to convert leads into visits and members.
• Manage cellar door inventory and sales forecasting.
• Oversee stock control, cash handling and POS operations.
