Job summary

Pagan Cider is seeking a friendly, customer‑focused cellar door attendant to welcome guests and provide knowledgeable service in Tasmania. You’ll conduct cider tastings, explain our range, and handle sales while keeping displays tidy and inviting.

Ideal candidates are reliable, well‑presented, and comfortable in a busy environment. Weekend availability and RSA certification (or willingness to obtain) are required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly service and provide product knowledge.
• Conduct cider tastings and explain the range to guests.

• Keep cellar door clean, tidy and well presented.
• Restock products and maintain displays.
• Assist with events and peak trading periods.
• Ensure customers have a memorable experience.
• Perform general cellar door duties as required.

About the role

Working in our cellar door, you'll be one of the faces of Pagan Cider and play an important part in the experience our customers have when they visit.

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and providing friendly, knowledgeable service
• Conducting cider tastings and talking customers through our range
• Serving cider and processing sales
• Keeping the cellar door clean, organised and well presented
• Restocking products and maintaining displays
• Assisting with events and busier trading periods
• Helping ensure customers have a memorable experience
• General cellar door duties as required

About you

• Friendly, outgoing and confident talking with customers
• Reliable and able to work independently when required
• A great communicator with strong customer service skills
• Well presented and organised
• Comfortable working in a busy environment
• Happy to get involved and help wherever needed
• Available to work some weekends
• Interested in cider, local produce and Tasmania's food and beverage industry
• A current RSA is required, or you must be willing to obtain one
