Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Liaise with managers and staff regarding food preparation issues.
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards and safe practices.
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
• Manage inventory and order food supplies.
• Ensure guest enquiries are addressed per company policies.
• Determine preparation and service of food with attractive presentation.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers and other cooking equipment.
• Minimise food wastage and manage food cost.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen.
