Against The Grind Cafe in Sydney is seeking an experienced Chef to join our energetic kitchen team. You will work under a Head Chef in a fast-paced environment and contribute to delivering modern, quality dishes across several cuisines.

The ideal candidate has minimum 3 years in a professional kitchen, can handle a rotating 7-day roster, and maintains immaculate grooming and strong communication with the team and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a professional kitchen.
• Able to work 5 days across a 7-day operation.
• Must have qualifications or trade experience equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Immaculate grooming and presentation.
• Ability to manage your own sections and deliver top quality food.
• Good food presentation and consistent standard.
• Food hygiene knowledge and practices.
• Available for rotating roster Mon–Sun.
• Approximately 38 hours per week.
