Job summary

The Archdiocese of Sydney is seeking a Catechesis and Engagement Lead to guide Eucharist28 preparation across dioceses, parishes, schools and movements. You will curate faithful, accessible catechetical resources and oversee engagement pathways that connect communities with the Congress program.

You will work with the Sydney Centre for Evangelisation and national church stakeholders, coordinating resources, schedules and translation, while traveling interstate to meet partners and ensure diverse

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience within the Catholic Church, a Catholic agency or faith-based organisation.
• Solid grounding in Catholic catechesis and pastoral practice.
• Experience developing, curating or delivering accessible catechetical resources.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across diocesan, parish, education and church networks.
• Current Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate catechetical and formation resources for Eucharist28 and allied programs.
• Develop engagement pathways with dioceses, parishes, schools, chaplaincies and Church movements.
• Support participation of culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
• Manage resource schedules and budgets with Archdiocesan teams.
• Interstate travel to meet dioceses, schools and other stakeholders.
