Zusammenfassung

The Archdiocese of Sydney is seeking a highly organised Senior Coordinator, Special Events to lead the preparation for Eucharist28 across Oceania, coordinating planning, procurement and on-site delivery for an international pilgrimage.

Reporting to the Director of Events and Operations, you will manage venues, suppliers, budgets and schedules, maintain risk and compliance documentation, support the conference program, and oversee on-site bump-in and bump-out through to close.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience in event management.
• Experience supporting planning and delivery of events, including logistics, suppliers, venues and on-site operations.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple activities, timelines and priorities and prepare clear plans, run sheets, schedules and operational documentation.
• Sound understanding of event risk, work health and safety, safeguarding and compliance requirements.
• Experience coordinating quotations, procurement, supplier documentation, invoices and event expenditure.
• Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and service providers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports, briefings, agendas and meeting minutes.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check and demonstrated commitment to the ethos and values of the Catholic Church are required.
