Job summary

Caloundra RSL Club is seeking an experienced Qualified Chef to join our hospitality team in Caloundra. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety, and ensuring exceptional presentation and taste in a fast-paced kitchen.

We offer a permanent full-time position with a competitive annual salary of $75,000–$80,000, along with gym membership, wellness programs, leadership development, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Cert III, Diploma of Commercial cookery or relevant Trade certificate.
• 1 year experience as a Chef within Hospitality Industry.
• Knowledge of all aspects of kitchen operations including the preparations, fryers, grill, pans and function service.

Responsibilities

• Qualified chef responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
• Managing kitchen operations and ensuring consistent presentation and taste.

Pre-requisites:

• Cert III, Diploma of Commercial cookery or relevant Trade certificate
• 1 year experience as a Chef within Hospitality Industry
• Previous experience working in a fast paced kitchen
• Previous experience catering for functions and events
• Knowledge of all aspects of kitchen operations including the preparations, fryers, grill, pans and function service.
• Have good availability across 7 days (weekends & Public Holidays)
