Job summary

Caloundra RSL is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our management team in a role that balances leadership with service excellence. You will mentor staff, oversee rostering, and ensure our hospitality standards remain high while supporting our community and veterans in a non-profit setting.

The position offers a full-time roster with a competitive base salary up to 87,000 AUD plus super and meals, plus a rotating schedule and opportunities for growth within a vibrant hospitality venue

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management or supervisory roles.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• A Police Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop the team through constructive feedback to improve knowledge and performance.
• Coordinate operations and service practices to enhance customer and employee experience.
• Lead by example with superior customer service and clear communication.
• Demonstrate dispute resolution to resolve staff and customer grievances efficiently.
• Work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Report on customer and employee incidents in a timely manner.

Your contribution

Coach & develop the team through constructive & effective feedback with the aim to improve employee knowledge, performance & reduce staff turnover.

Participate in andcoordinate innovationactivities relating to operations & service practices to improve the customer & employee experience.

Lead by example through superior customer service, positive & effective communication & productivity.

Demonstrate dispute resolution techniques to resolve staff and customer grievances in an efficient manner ensuring a positive business outcome is achieved.

Work well under pressure with the ability to multi task.
