Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited in NSW is seeking a Catering team member at Villa Maria Unanderra to provide high quality dining for residents, with casual shifts from 7am-12pm and 2:30pm-7:30pm and a pay rate of $33.20 per hour plus casual loading and super.

You will prepare meals, serve residents, support colleagues, and follow all safety policies.

Aged Care experience and good communication are valued; Certificate III in Hospitality is desirable, NDIS/Police checks required or willing to obtain.

Qualifications

• Aged Care experience, knowledge of nutrition and meal preparation from a Care Plan.
• Heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you'll need

• Aged Care experience, knowledge of nutrition and meal preparation from a Care Plan
• A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential
• Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
• Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
• Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
• NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
