Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited in Wentworth Falls is seeking casual Catering Assistants to join our friendly team at Bodington, where you’ll deliver nutritious, enjoyable and high-quality dining experiences for our residents.

You’ll assist with meal preparation and service, ensure top dining standards, and help residents with their dining needs. We value care, connection and respect in a not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is desirable, but not essential.
• Genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to older people.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Good knowledge of food safety, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practices.
• Warm, empathetic interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
• The ability to establish and maintain professional and respectful relationships with residents and their families.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check, or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

About The Role
As part of our Catering team, you’ll help deliver delicious meals and exceptional dining experiences while ensuring our residents feel supported, respected and cared for. Your responsibilities will include:

What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who combines a genuine care for people with a positive, can-do attitude. To be successful, you’ll have:

• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is desirable, but not essential.
