Catholic Healthcare – St Joseph's, Coffs Harbour, currently has casual and part-time catering opportunities. The role covers resident meal service, assisting with meal prep, and delivering a high-quality dining experience for residents.

Emphasis on safety, teamwork and compassionate service in a not-for-profit environment. Competitive hourly pay ($33.20+ super) with casual loading, plus benefits such as Fitness Passport and parental leave.

Formación

• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain dining service quality.
• Good understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene.

As a member of the Catering team, you will be preparing high quality food and providing a great dining service to our residents to ensure a high quality of life.

About the Role:

• Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as required

• Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
• Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you’ll need

• A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential
• Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
• Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
• Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
• NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
