Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited in Hunters Hill, Sydney, is seeking a casual Catering team member to prepare high-quality meals and deliver a warm dining service that enhances residents' quality of life.

You will join a supportive team, adhere to food safety standards, and bring empathy and strong communication. A Certificate III in Hospitality is desirable but not essential; NDIs and police checks may be required.

Location - Hunters Hill Casual Pay rate - $33.20 p/h Not for profit employer so pay less tax! Exciting things are happening at Catholic Healthcare! As a member of the Catering team at St Annes Hunters Hill, you will be preparing high quality food and providing a great dining service to our residents to ensure a high quality of life.

About the Role:

• Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as required
• Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
• Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
• To be successful in this role you'll need A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential
• Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
• Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
• Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
• NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
