Job summary

RSL LifeCare is hiring a Catering Assistant for Page, ACT, to support our Residential Aged Care dining services. You will work with the Head Chef and catering team to deliver high-quality meals to residents and visitors, while maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area and ensuring safety standards are met.

You will interact with residents and families with empathy, provide friendly service, and contribute to a positive dining experience in a supportive, not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated compassion and empathy in resident care.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Teamwork with catering and care staff.
• Ability to work efficiently and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Catering/hospitality qualifications or related experience are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work with the catering team to provide high-quality catering services for residents and visitors.
• Comply with Food Safety Standards.
• Maintain a clean, efficient kitchen, equipment and dining areas.
• Serve residents meals and snacks, respecting dietary needs.
• Build strong relationships with the team to deliver a positive dining experience.
