Job summary

RSL LifeCare Merimbula is seeking a Catering Assistant to work with our kitchen team, assisting with meal service, dishwashing and maintaining a clean dining environment. You will support the Head Chef, follow Food Safety Standards and help deliver a warm, respectful dining experience for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the catering team and Head Chef to provide high quality catering services for residents and visitors.
• Comply with Food Safety Standards.
• Maintain a clean, efficient kitchen, including dishwashing and dining areas.
• Demonstrate a customer service mindset when interacting with residents and families.
• Serve residents meals and snacks ensuring correct meals for dietary needs.
• Build strong relationships with the team to deliver a positive dining experience.
