Job summary

RSL LifeCare Limited is seeking a Cleaning Assistant in Thirlmere, NSW. This part-time role supports our Residential Care homes by maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents and visitors.

You’ll follow cleaning schedules, restock supplies, handle chemicals safely and cooperate with the care team to uphold quality standards. We value compassion, reliability and teamwork, with training provided and opportunities for career progression within a not-for-profit organisation serving veterans

Responsibilities

• Adherence to general cleaning schedule ensuring all areas area maintained at an acceptable level of cleanliness.
• Check and replenish supplies such as liquid soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc.
• Check supply of cleaning chemicals and fill containers as required.
• Spot clean spills
• Ensure safe handling and use of chemicals.
• Comply with relevant RSL LifeCare WHS policies, procedures, and reasonable instruction
• Maintain a safe work environment and take reasonable care for others’ health and safety(including visitors, Community members, team members and contractors)
